I don't know what it is about the "Duncraft" branded feeders, but my birds don't really like them. I think it is because they can't see all around them when they feed. The woodpeckers will use this feeder, but only if my large, simple cage suit feeder is already occupied.

I love this suet feeder! Super easy to hang (the cord stays stiff so you can hold it from the bottom to hang), and very simple to clean. Holds even the larger suet cakes. This season I've seen mostly Bushtits, American Goldfinches, and Downy Woodpeckers at my suet feeder (Urban PNW).
