I was using big old clear squirrel baffles over my hummingfeeders to keep them dry. This is much better looking. The ant moat is very shallow, so I paired it with the Detour Ant Moat. The feeding ports are large enough for honeybees, and they can't get back out. Every honeybee is precious, so I'm here to buy nectar guards. I have other water sources for the bees. Once the HummBella is on, you can't fully take the lid of the feeder off without unscrewing the hanger. I like the raised perch to see more of my birds. This is a good quality product, and I would buy it again.
