Designed to conserve energy, the insulated 60-watt heating element is thermostatically controlled and only turns on once temperatures drop below 35 degrees. The heater is enclosed and nestled safely between two layers. Run your own fully-grounded outdoor extension cord (not included) to the 12 inch electric cord. Two triangular mounts are adjustable for deck railing, up to 14 inches. Removable, heavy-duty, clay-color, bird bath dish. 1 inch deep. 14 inch diameter basin. Measures 19 x 19 x 3-1/4.
