It's made of naturally water repellent wool, and when it does get wet it will also naturally dry itself out. The 1-1/4 inch diameter opening is sized for small birds such as wren and chickadees.
If hung in a protected outdoor area, such as under a porch roof, our birdhouses will last for years and years. If placed in direct sun, colors will begin to gently fade over 2-3 months, but they will retain their shape for more than a year in fully exposed weather. Of course, it will last indefinitely indoors! Made in Nepal with sustainably harvested, water-resistant sheep wool, jute hanging cord & bamboo perch. Handy clean-out hole in the base. Measures 13 x 6 inches.

How do I return a product that I don't want?
Any product purchased directly from Duncraft may be returned for a refund of your purchase price or exchange for another product for one full year from the date of purchase. Return instructions are located on the back of the order confirmation that was sent with your order. If you no longer have that paper, please send a brief note providing your name, billing address, order number, reason for the return, and how you want the return to be handled.
