The heater is enclosed and nestled safely between two layers. Run your own fully-grounded outdoor extension cord (not included) up the hollow pedestal, where the cord is hidden from view and plug into the 12 inch electric cord. Comes with two hold-down stakes to secure feet to the ground. Removable, heavy-duty, forest-green, bird bath dish. 1 inch deep. 14 inch diameter basin. Stands 29 inches tall above the ground and measures 22 inches in diameter. Some assembly required.
