This compact dish feeder gives you an all natural way to feed your hummingbirds. Great for using your leftover fruit, while incubating fruit flies for protein—an essential part of the hummingbird's diet. Adult hummingbirds need to feed their young protein and nectar every 20 minutes—and hummingbirds can eat more than 100 fruit flies a day! Includes brass hanging hook with four nectar feeding ports and a wraparound perch for hummingbirds to rest while they feed. For best results, add nectar in the top compartment and place banana peels in the lower basin. Easy to assemble and comes with instructions. Made from red plastic with slotted openings at the top for hummingbirds to feed on the fruit flies. Feeder measures 8-3/4 x 11-1/2 inches tall with the hanger.
